Scope of report

AngloGold Ashanti has produced a suite of three complementary reports to communicate with a range of stakeholders on all aspects of its operating and financial performance for the year from 1 January to 31 December 2006.

Using this report

AngloGold Ashanti has a responsibility to report its annual financial statements to its shareholders in line with legislation and regulations related to the listing requirements of the various stock exchanges on which the company is listed.
